How to Make Kids Korner Your Internet Home Page

Note: You will need to read or print these instructions, then return to Kids Korner home page before you begin.

First, you need to make sure you are on the Kids Korner home page. If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer Browser 5 or above, it should say "Kids Korner - Microsoft Internet Explorer" at the very top left of your browser window, and the address bar should say, http://www.grace24u.org/kids.html

Now, find on your browser bar, near the top, where it says (starting on the left side and moving to the right): "File, Edit, View, Favorites, Tools, Help". Okay, go to "Tools" and left-click once. When you click on tools, a drop-down menu will, uh well, it drops down, just like its name says!! Cool, huh? :o) Now, go down to "Internet Options..." on the drop-down menu, and left-click once on "Internet Options..." Okay, now you have your internet options in front of you, and it should automatically open to the "General" settings; if not, then just left-click once on the tab at the top that says "General."

Now, right under the word "General", it says "Home Page: You can change which page to use for your home page." Under that is an address bar. Then, you have 3 buttons to choose from right under the address bar: "Use Current, Use Default, Use Blank" Click the button that says "Use Current". Next, on the very bottom of "Internet Options" there are 3 more buttons: "OK, Cancel, Apply" You need to left-click "Apply" once, then left-click "OK" once. And ... you're done, that's all there is to it.

So now, whenever you launch, or open, your MSIE browser, it will automatically go to that page. Also, anytime later, if you want to return to that page, just click "Home" on the MSIE browser toolbar, and you'll be back at the Kids Korner page again :o)
